We've already dedicated posts to pink, magenta, fuchsia, green, blue, red, and pretty much every color capable of making a piece of lingerie catch our attention a little more than strictly necessary.

But there was still one missing. Lilac.

And careful, because talking about lilac means stepping into dangerous territory. There's lavender, mauve, violet, amethyst, orchid, and a whole bunch of other shades that, depending on the lighting, the screen, and whoever happens to be looking at them, can end up dangerously close to pink, purple, or even blue.

So before we get started, let's make one thing clear: men don't understand color palettes. We're doing well enough if we can tell twelve colors apart without resorting to “light blue” and “dark blue.”

That's why one of the following videos might feature a piece of lingerie and someone will think: “That's not lilac, that's lavender.” Or mauve. Or violet. Or imperial Carpathian purple at sunset.

I don't care.

If I say it's lilac, it's lilac.

And if you want to argue about it, call your wife, show her the video, and spend the afternoon debating the Pantone chart. Just leave me out of it, because I've already put in enough work selecting these videos for strictly chromatic reasons.

At ALRNCN, we don't have some sophisticated algorithm analyzing your tastes, your browsing habits, or how long you spend watching each video. I am ALRNCN's algorithm.

A flesh-and-blood human being who browses stuff on the Internet and decides what makes the cut and what doesn't. No artificial intelligence, no millions of data points to process and, probably, no particularly remarkable natural intelligence either.

And that might be precisely the secret to why this works.

Because I've always thought of myself as a pretty average guy, with pretty average tastes and a level of mediocrity perfectly in line with most of the population. And since mediocre people are the majority, whenever something makes me stop, look a little longer, or think, "this needs to be posted," there's a pretty good chance that a lot of you will react exactly the same way.

I don't need to know how long you watched the previous video, how old you are, or what time you usually come online. It's enough for me to think that if I like it, there's probably a whole bunch of degenerates out there who'll like it too.

And after more than 20 years of selecting content this way, the system doesn't seem to have worked out too badly.

DIY

There's something especially satisfying about DIY. You might start out wanting to hang a simple shelf and end up dismantling half the room, watching tutorials about wall anchors, and wondering why there's always one screw left over when you finish.

The theory seems simple: measure, mark, cut, and assemble. Then reality arrives, you discover that no wall is ever completely straight, and that twenty-minute job ends up taking your entire afternoon.

Even so, few things make you feel prouder than looking at something you've repaired or built with your own hands. It might not be perfectly level and probably wouldn't survive a professional inspection, but as long as it doesn't fall down and nobody gets too close to examine the finish, we can call it a success.

Because DIY isn't just about saving money. It also requires patience, creativity, and learning how to handle your tools properly. And we all know that any job is much more entertaining when the right tools are in good hands.

The last time we dedicated a post to Simon Bolz was back in 2022. Since then, the German photographer has continued working, releasing new shoots and expanding a body of work that, by now, has a perfectly recognizable style.

For his return to ALRNCN, we've selected some of the photographs he has published since 2023. Images in which he once again combines nudity, female beauty, and meticulous art direction, paying just as much attention to the model as he does to the lighting, framing, and setting around her.

Because in Bolz's work, nudity never appears in isolation. Every location, every shadow, and every element of the composition helps create an atmosphere that turns each photograph into something more than just an attractive body in front of a camera.

THE EROTICISM OF GALYA

Galya is a Russian-born photographer focused on the nude female body. She's focused and I'm obsessed. We already have something in common.

Her work revolves around the female nude, with elegant, carefully composed photographs where the models aren't exactly trying too hard to hide from the camera.

There's not much playing around with showing without actually showing here. There's skin, there's nudity, and there's plenty to look at, but always through photography that tries to maintain that balance between eroticism, beauty, and naturalness.

ALL FOR A GOOD TIP

Have you ever seen those places where you can order coffee without getting out of your car and the barista serves you wearing nothing but a bikini? They've been running this particular business model in the United States for years, where the caffeine matters, but it clearly isn't the only reason some customers keep coming back every morning.

A few years ago, we dedicated a post to one of the most famous baristas at Bikini Beans Espresso, a chain that realized you can find coffee on practically every corner, but a bikini-clad barista serving it directly through your car window is much harder to forget.

From there, each barista decides how far she wants to take the experience. Some simply prepare your order, smile, and wish you a nice day. Others, when the customer proves to be generous, seem willing to offer a little more than some extra milk in the coffee.

Because a good tip can considerably improve the service and, at certain places, persuade the barista to put on a little personalized show without you ever having to leave the driver's seat.

The coffee might not be the best in town, but some customers certainly leave feeling wide awake.
