Everyone’s freaking out about how artificial intelligence is supposedly gonna retire flesh-and-blood influencers for good. And yeah, sure—AI is a tireless idea machine: it doesn’t whine, never asks for paid leave, and doesn’t gain a pound after Christmas. All pros, right?

But hold up—pretending to be a real influencer isn’t as easy as slapping a pretty face and a killer body on an avatar and waiting for people to fall in love. Creating content that actually hooks you, sparks curiosity, and makes you stop scrolling just to see what the AI babe’s up to? That’s not a one-click trick. It needs spark, context, a touch of mischief, and—above all—good old human screw-ups.





Let’s not kid ourselves: half the fun of a living influencer is the day they say something utterly dumb, accidentally flash too much, stir up drama, or post something so stupid it makes you giggle at 3 a.m. The machine doesn’t quite nail that yet.

I’ve got a few AI-generated videos of ridiculously hot girls—so stunningly crafted that it’s almost annoying. Everything is flawless: perfect skin, insane proportions, smooth, hypnotic movements. And yet… you can tell they’re not real. Why? Precisely because they’re too perfect.

Funny thing is, perfection doesn’t fool us—it triggers us. Our brain picks up on it. Something feels off. No pores, no weird shadows, no wrinkles, not even the slightest awkward twitch. Everything’s so spot-on, it feels fake. Ironic, right?

But this won’t last forever. Sooner or later, AI will figure out how to mess up on purpose. It’ll learn to throw in the tiny imperfections that make something truly believable. A misplaced reflection, slightly off lighting, a rebellious hair strand, a subtle scar above the eyebrow… and boom—no escape.

Because the future isn’t about getting things perfect. It’s about faking the flaws. And once AI gets that down, we won’t know if what we’re watching actually happened, if we dreamt it, or if someone just typed in the right prompts.

And the craziest part? Even the machines might not be able to tell anymore.
