SIMON BOLZ 2026. PART ONE

The last time we dedicated a post to Simon Bolz was back in 2022. Since then, the German photographer has continued working, releasing new shoots and expanding a body of work that, by now, has a perfectly recognizable style.

For his return to ALRNCN, we've selected some of the photographs he has published since 2023. Images in which he once again combines nudity, female beauty, and meticulous art direction, paying just as much attention to the model as he does to the lighting, framing, and setting around her.

Because in Bolz's work, nudity never appears in isolation. Every location, every shadow, and every element of the composition helps create an atmosphere that turns each photograph into something more than just an attractive body in front of a camera.

These days we've been following a pretty simple theme: color-coded videos. We've already been through pink, magenta, green, blue, lilac, red... and now it's yellow's turn.

Although we already know how this whole color thing works. Depending on the lighting, the screen, and how picky someone feels like being, there'll be clothes that some people see as yellow while others will swear they're closer to green, orange, gold, cream, or God knows what shade pulled straight out of a paint catalog.

So let's establish one rule to avoid wasting time: if I say it's yellow, it's yellow.

Period.

Because seriously... is the exact color of the clothes really the most important thing you want to argue about after watching the videos you're about to see?

I don't know. I think there are a few other details worth paying a lot more attention to.

PINK, FUCHSIA OR MAGENTA VOL3

In nature, intense colors often serve as a warning. Red, yellow, or black can indicate that something is poisonous, dangerous, or best admired from a safe distance. It's nature's way of telling you “don't touch” without having to put up a sign.

Something similar happens with pink, fuchsia, and magenta, although the message changes slightly. They're not telling you to stay away—quite the opposite. These colors are made to grab your attention, stand out from everything around them, and make sure your eyes end up exactly where they're supposed to.

And when they come in the form of bras, thongs, garter belts, or tiny lingerie sets, the effect multiplies. At that point, it doesn't matter whether the exact shade is electric pink, intense fuchsia, or magenta with hints of God knows what. What matters is that it works—and it works like a fucking charm.

So consider this new installment a warning: the images below contain bright colors, barely dressed women, and a high risk of you staring for much longer than originally intended.

ALL FOR A GOOD TIP

Have you ever seen those places where you can order coffee without getting out of your car and the barista serves you wearing nothing but a bikini? They've been running this particular business model in the United States for years, where the caffeine matters, but it clearly isn't the only reason some customers keep coming back every morning.

A few years ago, we dedicated a post to one of the most famous baristas at Bikini Beans Espresso, a chain that realized you can find coffee on practically every corner, but a bikini-clad barista serving it directly through your car window is much harder to forget.

From there, each barista decides how far she wants to take the experience. Some simply prepare your order, smile, and wish you a nice day. Others, when the customer proves to be generous, seem willing to offer a little more than some extra milk in the coffee.

Because a good tip can considerably improve the service and, at certain places, persuade the barista to put on a little personalized show without you ever having to leave the driver's seat.

The coffee might not be the best in town, but some customers certainly leave feeling wide awake.
