Yesterday we were talking about green and our particular way of dealing with the enormous complexity of the color spectrum: if it looks green, it's green.

Today we're switching folders and moving on to blue. And we could do exactly the same thing here. We could talk about sky blue, navy blue, electric blue, turquoise blue, petrol blue, cobalt blue, baby blue... but after yesterday's post, I think we've made our position on subtle shades pretty damn clear.

It's blue.

The funny thing is that blue is usually sold to us as the color of calm, tranquility and serenity. A clear blue sky, a calm sea, a crystal-clear swimming pool... All very relaxing, very zen, very much about taking a deep breath and finding your inner peace.

But then you take that very same blue and turn it into lingerie, a bikini, a tight dress or any other strategically placed piece of clothing, and that whole theory about tranquility starts falling apart pretty quickly.

Because colors, like so many other things in life, depend a lot on where you put them.

And considering where the blues featured in this post have been placed, I'm afraid we're not going to learn much about color psychology today either.

But that's not really what we came here for anyway.

DIY

There's something especially satisfying about DIY. You might start out wanting to hang a simple shelf and end up dismantling half the room, watching tutorials about wall anchors, and wondering why there's always one screw left over when you finish.

The theory seems simple: measure, mark, cut, and assemble. Then reality arrives, you discover that no wall is ever completely straight, and that twenty-minute job ends up taking your entire afternoon.

Even so, few things make you feel prouder than looking at something you've repaired or built with your own hands. It might not be perfectly level and probably wouldn't survive a professional inspection, but as long as it doesn't fall down and nobody gets too close to examine the finish, we can call it a success.

Because DIY isn't just about saving money. It also requires patience, creativity, and learning how to handle your tools properly. And we all know that any job is much more entertaining when the right tools are in good hands.

ALL IN ON BLACK VOL7

We've spent all week, and part of last week, doing a crash course in colors. Is this lilac or violet? Does that one lean more toward blue? Does yellow really have twenty different shades? And depending on the lighting, the screen, or who's looking at it, the exact same piece of clothing can apparently end up being one color or another.

But today we can relax.

Because today it's black. And black has one wonderful advantage for those of us working with a color palette of twelve colors at most: black doesn't leave much room for debate.

Black is black.

There's no such thing as "light black." That's gray, and even the most basic among us can figure that one out. There's no need to talk about "dark black" either, because if there's one color that already comes dark straight out of the box, it's this one. And strong black... well, that's black. Period.

So for once, we can forget about nuances, shades, flower names, gemstones and Pantone charts. Today we know exactly what we're looking at.

And let's be real, if there's one area where black works especially well, it's clothing and lingerie. It doesn't need fancy names or explanations: it catches the eye, goes with everything and rarely fails.

After so many days putting our limited knowledge of colors to the test, today we're finally on home turf.

All on black.

THE APPEAL OF FRECKLES

There are features that people traditionally tried to hide but that, over time, have ended up becoming precisely what makes a face attractive. Freckles are probably one of the best examples.

For years, the beauty industry got us used to faces with completely uniform skin: the same tone, the same texture, not a blemish, not a mark, practically no sign that there was an actual human being underneath all that makeup. And the funny thing is that when freckles appear scattered across the nose and cheeks, the exact opposite of what you might expect happens: instead of seeing them as an imperfection, a lot of people feel they actually make a face more attractive.





Maybe it's precisely because they break up that uniformity. Freckles add little points of contrast, make your eyes wander across the face, and can especially highlight the eyes, cheekbones, or nose. They're a kind of natural pattern that can make a face more recognizable and give it more personality.

There's also that sense of naturalness. Freckles remind us that real skin isn't a perfectly smooth surface created by a computer. It has pigmentation, pores, subtle differences in tone, and characteristics of its own. And very often, those little irregularities are exactly what make two equally beautiful faces feel completely different in terms of how interesting we find them.

In fact, in recent years we've reached the curious point where some people draw freckles on with makeup or turn to semi-permanent treatments to get something that others spent a good part of their lives trying to hide. The supposed imperfection has become a desirable feature.

And then there's the part that's impossible to measure. Attraction doesn't work according to some mathematical chart where a pair of lips adds two points, a nose subtracts one, and twenty freckles add another three. Some features simply trigger something in the person looking at them.

That's what happens to me with freckles. Especially when they're concentrated around the nose and beneath the eyes. I'm not entirely sure why, but far from making a face look messy or taking away from its beauty, I think they give it character, naturalness, and an especially attractive touch.

In the end, maybe part of beauty lies precisely there: in those little characteristics that stop a perfect face from also becoming a completely forgettable one.

Because sometimes an imperfection doesn't take anything away. It's exactly what was needed to add something more.

While other websites closely follow the evolution of artificial intelligence in fields such as medicine, education, aerospace, robotics and scientific research, somebody has to take care of the truly important stuff.

And that's where we come in.

Ever since this whole artificial intelligence craze began just a few years ago, here at ALRNCN we've been documenting, installment after installment, how AI is advancing in a field as interesting as it is inevitable, necessary and fucking addictive: sex.

Because beyond the images we publish, this series has almost unintentionally become a small chronological record of the evolution of generative artificial intelligence. You only have to go back to the first volumes and compare them with the latest ones to see just how much everything has changed.





At first, we were amazed that an AI could generate a remotely believable woman. Then we started paying attention to the hands, fingers, eyes, skin, proportions, poses, lighting and backgrounds. Mistakes that once immediately gave away an artificial image have gradually disappeared or become increasingly difficult to spot.

And while we were getting used to each new leap forward, the machines kept learning. More detail, better textures, more natural lighting, more coherent anatomy and increasingly convincing scenes. What would have blown our minds a couple of years ago can look completely normal to us today.

That's probably one of the most interesting things about following this evolution month after month: it's not just the technology that changes, our perception of what we consider impressive changes too. AI is improving so quickly that something that seemed extraordinary yesterday may look mediocre tomorrow.

So here we are, making our own little contribution to the history of humanity. Others will document how artificial intelligence helped discover new medicines, design robots or explore space. We're documenting how it learned to create increasingly realistic fantasies.

We all contribute to society in our own way.

I hope that someday someone will appreciate the enormous amount of documentation, sacrifice and scientific rigor that ALRNCN has been putting in for decades. Because when someone in the future wants to study how the relationship between technology, artificial intelligence and sex evolved, we'll be sitting here with 200 installments saying: “Relax, kid. We already took care of it.”

And we've actually reached a pretty respectable milestone: Random AI-generated images, volume 38.

ALL IN ON RED VOL7

Over the last few days, we've been making our way through a good chunk of the color chart. We've had pink, fuchsia, magenta, green, blue, lilac... and at this point, there was one we simply couldn't leave out: Red.

And thankfully, red is going to give us far fewer problems than lilac did. There's not much to argue about here. Red is red.

Yes, I know someone will now show up ready to explain that there's crimson, scarlet, vermilion, burgundy, cherry red, ruby and another thirty shades that I'm sure have extremely important differences for designers, painters and people capable of telling them apart without having to place two pieces of clothing side by side.
But we're not going to make life complicated. If you look at it and your brain says "red," then for the purposes of this post, it's red.

Besides, few colors need less explanation. Red has been doing its job perfectly well for centuries: it grabs your attention, stands out and makes you look. It's on warning signs, sports cars, lips, dresses designed to make someone turn their head as they walk past and, of course, lingerie that nobody ever buys with the intention of going unnoticed.

So after spending all these days jumping from one color to another, it was time to maintain at least some editorial consistency and make sure red didn't get left out.
