It blends historical references, imagination, and a touch of nostalgia to create memories of something that never actually happened. We know it's fiction, yet a part of us willingly chooses to believe it.

Maybe that's because, even though the scenery changes, some things never do. Empires have risen and fallen. Religions, languages, borders, and even the way we understand the world have changed.
