The Instagram algorithm is like that annoying friend who, once they find something new, won’t stop repeating it over and over. And here I am, stuck for days in this loop: girls showing off a product to the camera, covering a nipple with it… then one wrong move and half a second of full exposure. That’s the trick — that tiny instant, that accidental tease that makes it all so tempting.

It’s not that these videos bother me —I’d be lying if I said they don’t have their charm— but the problem is that my Instagram has become completely obsessed. When it looked like we had wrapped up this saga, turns out we hadn’t. The Instagram algorithm keeps shoving these videos into my feed like it’s my daily diet. So here we are again, putting them out. If the content won’t stop popping up, how am I not going to keep sharing it?

No accidents, no slip-ups. It’s all intentional: creators who know exactly how to play with the framing, the timing, and the perfect prop that covers the bare minimum—then they move it at the exact second so what needs to be seen gets seen. A measured game that mixes thrill, strategy, and the promise of more followers.

The algorithm should censor it, but instead it seems fascinated by the formula. It feeds it to you over and over, like it also got hooked on the game. And in that tug of war, we carry on: videos that shouldn’t be there and yet there they are, bending the rules and keeping this saga alive.
