THE EROTICISM OF GUENTER KNOP

Guenter Knop began his career in the late 1970s working in the world of fashion and advertising photography in Germany. In the early 1980s he moved to New York, where he worked as first assistant to Henry Wolf, the renowned art director behind Esquire, Harper’s Bazaar and Show.

His work is defined by dramatic lighting and carefully crafted sets, heavily influenced by the Bauhaus, Art Nouveau and Art Deco movements. One of the most distinctive aspects of his photography is his use of non-professional models, people from different backgrounds he met in New York who brought a sense of authenticity, naturalness and a much fresher perspective to nude art.

AMATEUR MEAT: ROSE_ROSE_R0SE

The biggest enemy of any movement often doesn't come from the outside. Sometimes it shows up from within. Not because of equality, rights, or the original ideas that gave it life, but because of something much more human: authoritarian attitudes, moral superiority, and plain old envy.

Because there are always people convinced they've figured out the correct way to live, and suddenly feel the need to explain to everyone else how they should think, act, dress, or even how they should enjoy their own lives.
And funnily enough, the more people talk about freedom, the more others seem eager to start writing instruction manuals for everybody else.

But let's leave the arguments aside and do something much simpler: enjoy the content that Rose shared willingly, freely, and simply because she felt like it.

Model and adult content creator Cece Rose keeps pushing that strange and fascinating phenomenon known as the human hydraulic press, crushing pretty much anything placed in front of her with her boobs.

And honestly, there are days when you really don’t need much more from life. Sometimes it’s enough to watch a beautiful woman smashing random objects with her chest.
Because yeah, there’s probably deeper, smarter and more intellectually enriching content out there. But this exists too. And let’s not pretend it doesn’t have its own weird charm.

I don’t usually keep close track of the photographers I publish on ALRNCN. Mainly because, after all these years, I’ve featured the work of hundreds of them.
Whenever I go hunting for content and come across an interesting photographer, the first thing I do is check whether I’ve already posted their work before and, if so, how long ago that was.

If several years have passed and, more importantly, if they’ve continued sharing new material worth revisiting, that’s usually when I decide whether they deserve a new post or not.

Israeli photographer Mark-Meir Paluksht got his first post here back in the summer of 2014. Since then he’s continued uploading new photos to his social media, so this new entry is a small selection of some of the images he has shared throughout all these years.

GEORGE PITTS 2026

We’re taking a little trip through the photography of George Pitts (1951–2017), an American photographer, editor and teacher widely recognized for the huge influence he had on editorial and contemporary photography.

About 11 years ago I already invited you to check out his Tumblr, but between one thing and another, a lot of images were left sitting in the drawer. So today felt like the perfect excuse to recover part of that material and also revisit his photographic career, his style, and that very particular way he had of capturing bodies, scenes and moments with a mix of eroticism, naturalness and aesthetics that’s incredibly hard to imitate.
