A VERY MODERN BARBIE VOL2

Barbie has always been an icon, but these AI videos flip everything on its head by dropping her right into today’s content world. Feeds, trends, lip syncs, outfit switches… the same stuff you see every day, just with her as the main character.
And that’s the hook. It feels familiar, but something doesn’t quite sit right. That mix between doll and human creates a weird vibe, slightly unsettling in a way you can’t really explain… but it keeps you watching.

A couple of weeks ago we shared a first compilation from an Instagram account that brings these Barbies to life in urban settings with current music—hip-hop, rap, pop. They move, perform, lock eyes with the camera… and it works.
Not gonna lie—I’m pretty hooked. I’m a fan of this account.

So here’s round two. Because this kind of content is everywhere right now, and this is basically the same thing… but in a parallel universe where instead of people, it’s a full Mattel world playing by the same rules.

SOMETHING’S GOING ON

A few days ago we shared a video of a guy having a quiet breakfast at a bar when suddenly another dude walks in with a knife and, without saying a word, goes straight for him. No warning, no context, nothing.
It didn’t go further because the guy reacted, defended himself, stood his ground and with help from others they managed to subdue the attacker.
And the weirdest part… is that once disarmed, the guy sits down like nothing happened.
Like he’s just waiting for someone to take his breakfast order.

Well… now here comes another video. Another scene that feels like it’s straight out of the same script.
A random office. A guy working at his computer. Routine. Total normality. And suddenly, another man —older this time— walks up… and without a word, pulls out a kitchen axe and starts attacking him.

Same pattern again: shock, reaction, people stepping in, they restrain him… And again that weird feeling that the attacker isn’t fully there. Like something’s off. Like even he doesn’t really know what just happened.
And that’s when your brain starts glitching.

Because this doesn’t feel like an isolated thing anymore. It starts to feel like that kind of movie plot where something breaks and people start acting violently without knowing why.
A virus. A spore. Some invisible shit that gets into your head and flips a switch that should never be touched.
Regular people… doing things that aren’t normal.
No clear motive. No prior argument. No warning. Just that moment when someone goes from calm… to trying to kill the person in front of them.

And it’s not just how fucked up it is… it’s how fast it happens. And how familiar it’s starting to feel.
Because we’ve all seen this kind of thing in movies and thought: “that’s fiction.” Until suddenly… you see two videos in a week that look like they’re part of the same damn script.
And at that point, you don’t even know if you’re watching the internet… or the beginning of something we still don’t understand.
